Rated 4 out of 5 by Kitchen Gut and remodel from Surprised at how long it takes to preheat. I bought all new Frigidaire Professional appliances for my complete kitchen remodel. This wall oven model has what is called a "hidden baking element" which means you cannot see the heating element on the bottom of the oven. I did not know this when I bought it but apparently this causes the oven to take (what I consider) an extraordinary time to preheat - up to 20 minutes to get to 350. So you have to plan accordingly when you want to use it. The blower turning on and off while cooking took some getting used to but I guess this is because it is wall mounted and needs to cool itself during use. I lived in a rented condominium for many years and avoided baking because the oven would not only heat up the kitchen but would also overcook everything. We finally grew up and bought a house and got this fantastic oven as part of the builder's upgrades. In addition to the sleek design which I loved so much that we purchased the matching refrigerator, it is such a joy to finally have a fabulous appliance that works like a charm as well. It took me a bit to realize that it is a convection and conventional oven, so I was very excited to realize that I got even more than I had expected. We love it! Rated 1 out of 5 by bluffton gal from Bad product! this oven came as a package group with our new built home, its the first Frigidaire products we have ever owned in 38 years of home ownership, and let me say it will be the last! this oven works so bad I avoid it like the plague. it takes for ever to heat up, dries everything out and never browns anything, just burns! I did have a tech come out and he did recalibrate the oven as it was off some 20 degrees. He was very helpful in giving me hints and suggestions but basically said it was as good as it gets! I hope to replace this unit soon as soon as I feel like I have the funds. Terrible product, do not buy! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by Crunez from Sleek design, cooks well I have used this unit for about a month now with no issues. I find that my food is cooked evenly and is even forgiving with having to have baked good in longer than the suggested time. In my old oven, my baked goods would burn, but for some reason, with this one, they do not burn and I get a more even color all around. The only thing that I do not care for is that the knobs and the touch screen are super sensitive. So when you are cooking on the stove stop, you body can turn on the the touchscreen or move a knob with just the slightest touch. Other than that, it is great. Rated 2 out of 5 by squeakymouse from The jury is still out... I bought this oven almost two months ago. I wanted Thanksgiving to pass before I reviewed it. Although I haven't tried the self-cleaning function or Sabbath mode yet, the other settings seem to have temperature problems--as in not holding temperature, falling & not returning to temperature, rapidly rising (greater than the setting). I really like the temperature probe--just remember to fully insert it into the meat. Worked well on a 5 lb. eye round, ok on the turkey (had to cook it longer). I do need to call Customer Service and have it checked out. I would recommend it as it does work if you play with the temperature. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 1 out of 5 by Wendy L from This Oven is Awful I have never had such a frustrating oven. Setting the timer take way too long because it often doesn't read when I try to add time. It doesn't matter where you place your finger or how much or little pressure you place on the "+", it doesn't work. Sometimes it will also just reset itself because it will work for a few seconds then it stops. I absolutely hate this oven and would never ever buy another one.

We still have not figured out why. We have the same noise issue with the gas oven/stove. The refrigerator also is a lemon. We have a side by side and everything on the side closer to the freezer, freeze, it is very disappointing. I am hoping their customer support can fix them or replace them. Rated 2 out of 5 by lizwith4boys from Like the features, but the noise.... Was very excited to redo my kitchen and love this family of appliances. Bought the fridge, cooktop and oven. Love the fridge and cooktop but the oven is very noisy. The fan sounds like a jet and when it shuts off, it winds down with a clatter. This can't be normal. I have only used it 1/2 dozen times as it is brand new. I'm going to call in a warranty service request but after seeing these comments am now a bit worried. Any thoughts, Frigidaire, I'd love to see a response to this common complaint - maybe a warranty fix is in the works?
