Rated 1 out of 5 by sjgsjg from They should stop making this one! My builder installed this microwave as part of my appliance package (must have been cheap). The piece inside that you shouldn't remove looks like packing cardboard that should be removed when unpacking. You cant hardly see inside when your food is cooking and when I try to boil water in microwave I can't tell when it's boiling. The three long beeps (and then more sets of beeping if you dont get your food out) when food is done is terribly annoying. The under light for the stove has a bluish tint and offers poor lighting. I don't have a good thing to say about this product and I can't wait to replace it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by acaruso from Microwave Bought as a replacement to older Frigidaire Microwave. So far so good. Working well. The only complaint is I had hoped that all Frigidaire unit would share the exact same "installation template" so we could reuse the holes already drilled into the cabinets as well as the rear mounting bracket, but this is not the case. This was the main reason for staying with Frigidaire. Now I know this is not the case. You would think this would be a built-in incentive to remain with a brand when replacing but apparently that is not the case. That was frustrating. Other than that, everything worked fine. I had it installed by the seller - but it fit perfectly and they just needed to install a new bracket and drill new top holes. The oven has basic quick start buttons - which I rarely used on my old microwave. I think my favorite feature it has that my old one didn’t was the auto 30 second heat when you press the start button. Pushing it multiple times adds 30 seconds for every push. As noted in other reviews - the keypad requires a heavier touch - but once you figure out how much pressure to use - it’s easy to adapt. I’m very satisified with my purchase. Rated 2 out of 5 by MCTOPDAD from Adequate, but door needs improvement I purchased this microwave about a month ago, it took me hours to replace the microwave, because mounting frame is different also the securing anchors were different than one old one, plus one of the securing nuts was either missing or out of alignment and I did not notice it until I had already mounted the microwave. The door is cheaply made and to thin for longtime service, it sound cheaply made when you shut the door and if it is slammed it will fail for the door lock safety features. The glass on the door cause distortion you cannot clearly see something boiling etc. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by Racemedic from Very nice unit! This purchase replaced a 25 year old one that was literally falling apart. (control panel fell off - hanging by wires) We had to have one that fit in the same space and this one filled the bill. It's nice to have the updated features like reheat,etc.) I've seen a lot of reviews where people bash the unit for it's "3 loud beeps" when it shuts off. Maybe my hearing isn't that sensitive, but it doesn't bother me at all. The beeps stop if you open the door too. The only thing I can pick on is that the door squeaks when opening or closing. A bit of lube will probably cure it straight away.

It cooks potatoes quicker, boils water faster and defrosts vegetables in a blink! Makes a scrambled egg in less than a minute. So pleased with how well it performs. Such a great size that can hold my largest casserole dishes. Also appreciate that it has a guide on times to cook certain foods when you open the door. When something is finished cooking it beeps, alerting you until you take it out. I like that because when I'm multi tasking, it doesn't let me forget. Nice bright LED lighting for my cook top. Great that it doubles as a hood with ventilation fan. Works great on both fan speeds when I'm cooking something greasy! Not too loud. Love the look and style over my stove. Has typical features plus 1, 2 and 3 minute quick starts, the fan is much quieter even at high level. The vents are located on top as opposed to the front which gives it a neater appearance and they are easier to keep clean. Also, this one keeps beeping until you open the door as opposed to beeping only once when your food is ready. The only negative was that the mounting holes were located in a different position on the oven than my old one so we had to drill new holes on the cabinet. Rated 2 out of 5 by Captain KingBee from Is this unit broken? Bought a totally renovated condo with this unit in it. Most features work fine but I'm concerned about two that perplex me. First, I cannot operate timer at same time as cooking feature. If I start timer and then try to heat something, the timer works but I get 3-4 quick beeps and cannot start microwave. Same thing if I start microwave first and then try to start timer. Is it supposed to work this way? Secondly, there appears to be no difference in fan speed with exhaust set to high or low. Cannot detect any difference in sound or exhaust volumn (recirculated installation). This does not operate like other units I've owned. Is this normal or should I call a service technician?
