Faster, even cooking for all your family favorites

Could Not Be More Pleased!

This double wall oven unit replaced an older double oven that was original to our home.  We really like the features of the ovens.  Both ovens are convection, which will come in handy for family gatherings and around the holidays.  The quick preheat feature is great, especially for weekday dinners where heating up the oven quickly is a time-saver...

Questions & Reviews

How do I keep my racks gliding smoothly?

To keep your oven racks gliding smoothly when you’re removing or inserting them, we recommend applying cooking oil along their outer edges.

How do I set my oven to self clean?

To self-clean your oven, just follow these simple steps:

  1. Remove all oven racks – except any porcelain ones.
  2. Set your oven control to Clean.
  3. Select a cleaning time, or choose a cleaning level: light, medium, or heavy soiled. For normal cleaning needs, we recommend selecting a cleaning time of three hours or choose the medium setting.
  4. Select Start. (To set a delayed start, see your use and care manual.)

Note: For safety reasons, your oven door will remain locked during cleaning. When the oven is sufficiently cool again, the door will automatically unlock.

What is convection cooking and what are the benefits?

Convection cooking is cooking with the added advantage of airflow circulation, which allows for a more even distribution of heat. By using the forced flow of hot air, convection cooking produces the following benefits:

  • Cooking time is approximately 25-30% faster than conventional ovens, saving energy.
  • The more even distribution of heat results in food that is more evenly baked.
  • Generally, less heat is required than with a conventional oven—a convection oven usually cooks at 25°F below a conventional oven's required temperature.

What should I do if my oven is cooking too slowly or too fast?

You can check the actual oven temperature with an oven thermometer, then compare that reading to the setting on the oven’s control. If there is a significant difference, some models will let you adjust the oven temperature. Instructions for doing this can be found in your owner’s manual, under “Adjusting Oven Temperature.”

Is it normal for the oven’s fan to run after the oven has been turned off?

Yes, this is normal. The fan stays on in order to help cool the oven.

What does it mean if the oven display is flashing codes that I’m not familiar with?

These codes mean that the oven’s electronic control has detected a condition it needs to check. When you see a code, follow these steps:

  • Press STOP/CLEAR to clear the display and stop the beeping.
  • Reprogram the oven.
  • If the code still displays, turn off the power to the oven at your breaker box and wait five minutes to turn it back on.

If the code is still displayed after you’ve followed these steps, contact your local authorized service provider.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Attractive with Modern Functionality Frigidaire is a long-established brand, but until recently, it isn't one I would normally have associated with an oven. However, when researching features and cut-out dimensions to replace our failing, 15-year-old double oven, it was Frigidaire that came through on price, features, and looks. The convection settings are a huge plus for me, as is the quick pre-heat option. Racks seem to be very substantial, and operate very smoothly. It's early days yet, but we're very pleased with the oven so far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Save just in time for the holidays Our oven failed just before Thanksgiving. The repair contractor said the replacement parts were not available until late January. 12 people coming for dinner on Thanksgiving, plus Christmas and New Year's with no oven. My wife went into panic mode. Frigidaire came through. As the parts were not readily available for the holiday seasons, they replaced the oven with a new unit. It was installed the day before our guest arrived.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from love the hidden element and speed preheat We acquired this a month ago and my wife loves it. She likes the speed pre-heating option and the hidden bottom element. She also liked the one rack that pulls out like a filing cabinet, but I didn't notice any improvement over the typical racks. One odd thing is that it has a connection for an internal thermostat but I can't seem to find how to acquire one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from What about the parts? None listed not available? Just got it installed and did the preliminary 30 minute bake to burn off smells. found out both ovens are 20 degrees hotter than the temperature display when beep at reached temp. Owners manual does not give you procedure like other ovens for adjustment. While looking on Fridigaire site this oven is not listed for help or parts. So where do I get parts if manufacturer doesn't list them available?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Approval Pending We bought the Fridgidair Gallery right before Thanksgiving. The day before Thanksgiving with out of town guest on the way the oven failed to heat. The display showed an F45 error. I looked on line and discovered it was a fan problem. We needed the oven immediately to avoid family chaos so we called the seller and found out parts would have to be ordered and a repairman scheduled after the pars arrived. Panic was beginning to set it so we tried over and over to get the oven going but continued to get the E45 error On both ovens. Finally l say to my stressed out wife, “Maybe we can use the broiler setting.” Before she could say “You can’t cook a 20 pound turkey under the broiler!”, I had turned it on and the fan started right up. I switched quickly back to the oven and this time it fired up with no error message. Thanksgiving turkey, cakes, pies and cookies all came out as beautiful and tasty as ever. We continued through the holidays with the same technique of coaxing the oven to life using the broiler start up method. The repairman did arrive finally on January 6 and told us that several customers had the same issue and that he knew exactly what needed done - a fan sensor problem. He knocked it out in a little over an hour and as of today, January 7, the oven is working perfectly. Yes, as of today, we love our new Fridgidair Gallery double oven.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quick performance We recently did a total kitchen renovation and selected this as our double oven. We had a small hiccup with the fan at first but it was resolved quickly. It's a great oven that heats up quickly and is really intuitive to use (even for our non-tech parents). We're excited to continue to use it for a very long time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value My "old" top oven died just before Thanksgiving (great timing, huh). Instead of going through the repair process I elected to purchase a new oven. There were many great sales going on and many brands from which to choose. I did comparison shopping and found this oven had many more features than the most expensive ovens and had higher ratings from owners. The only thing I did not get on this oven that I wanted was roll out racks on all levels - not just the bottom rack of the top oven. Installation was great and I have had this oven in place and being used for a little over a month. It is gorgeous to look at - very classy. The temperature seems true. Love the convection feature on both top and bottom ovens. I have yet to use the meat probe, but I have a prime rib waiting in the wings to give it a good try. The controls are very simple and logical. Top oven controls on the left, bottom oven controls on the right. Everything is intuitive so you shouldn't have any problem "learning" how to use the oven. I will say, I had to adjust to using the new oven - probably because it's temperature is more accurate than my old oven, but just keep in mind that you may have a "learning curve" to adjust to changes from your old unit. This is a beautiful built-in appliance, great value for the money, and something I would not hesitate to recommend.
