Love it, but...We purchased this (new) about six weeks ago as a set for our new home. The problem is that, since I used the convection oven one time, the microwave only works intermittently. I'm attaching a video. You put in the time desired for cooking, press 'start', and the light comes on but nothing happens. This is not counting down a timer; if it goes to zero, it just shuts off. But does not cook anything. The only way to get it out of this is to unplug the entire unit. Has anyone had this problem? We don't know what to do and don't even know how to search a solution as we're not sure what the problem is!

Better than ExpectedI purchased this microwave about 4 months ago. I love the sleek design and it matches my other appliances. Since my oven started having issues, we have had to use the convection oven to bake. I'm so glad that the microwave has that feature.
It's pretty easy to operate and and after your food is done, there's a pleasant sounding beep at the end.
My only issue is the door handle is not sturdy. The hinges on the inside are already loose and it causes the door to be slightly lopsided. We called the repairman and he is stumped. Hopefully he will figure out how to repair it soon. Currently he's talking to the manufacture to get assistance.

RandyMI bought this microwave in the winter with all the other appliances. First refrigerator didn't work and I lost most of my food. The microwave has a panel next to the handle that was attached with double sided tape. it will not stay fixed. Bad design. I went to the dealer to show them and their display was the same. The dealer said they ask the Frigidaire rep about this and she said they had not had any complaints. I cant understand why the two I have seen both have the same problem and you are not aware of the issue. My unit is still not fixed and I'm disappointed with the quality for the price. I went back to Frigidaire because I had good service from my last set of appliances.

Broken (latch bracket) after 2 yearsThis OTR Microwave was only being used as a simple microwave and was always difficult to open. This microwave broke down after 2 years of usage. As soon as the microwave is plugged into an electrcal outlet, it trips the circuit breaker. Upon diagnosis, we needed to replace the worn out latch bracket and added silicone dry lubricant to allow a smoother door opening. This professional grade and expensive microwave should not be broken just beyond the 1-year warranty period. I was very disappointed with this simple quality defect and would not recommend this OTR microwave. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Best Microwave we've ever had!We have always had the freestanding microwaves. We built a house this year and wanted something more nice. Frigidaire was in our budget. My wife originally wanted a Dutch oven, but with the convection option, this microwave combined with our range gave us more Cubic Feet of oven space. I've baked cookies with it once and it did great! The sensor reheat does really well. I'm standing there watching and thinking, "This is going to be scalding HOT!" But being patient and waiting for the cycle to finish, the food came out at very close to the perfect temperature for me. We are very pleased with ours

I want to rate it higher!I bought this last year...and I love it when it works :)
Once installed, we had an issue with it just stopping (not blowing the breaker) just stopping a few seconds after it started.
We called the service dept. they sent a service guy out...he had no clue why it kept stopping, so he called Fridgidaire.
A week later the service guy came back. Opened the side panel and put in a piece of tinfoil. Apparently, the head service dept of Fridgidaire said that was the fix.
I am a little concerned that we will have more issues down the road...and how is that covered under warranty? [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Some good, some baI have had this oven for 2 years, so it's not still under warranty. That said, the problems I am having is that 1/it takes a long time to come up to temperature for baking or roasting, and 2/my oven will not heat above 375 degrees. I have checked it with an oven thermometer. If I have it on preheat, it will not heat beyond 350 degrees, and if i set it for a higher temperature, it will not set and returns to 350. I can live with this but it's frustrating when I want to do frozen fries or pizza. I have to use my toaster oven as I live in an RV and don't have a regular oven. For the price it should do better than this.

replacement unit has been excellent.First unit keypad died within the first week of installation. Waited for a replacement which has been no problems at all for many months now. Things to note: the audible alarm even when set to HIGH it like a whisper. The "ding ding ding" when time expires using the convection cook is likewise. They both need to be louder by a factor of 50 at the least. Make it LOUD.
Also: the wire rack (item #17) is to be used for 2 level cooking ... that is the only reference to using this thing at all and it was on a small tag. There is no explanation, recommendation on when and how to use it.
