When the convection feature on your range is enabled, you can use Convection Convert to automatically adjust the bake time and temperature of a standard baking recipe for convection baking. Since the convection feature generally cooks food faster than normal baking, your dishes may need less time in the oven than the recipe suggests. Convection Convert automatically lowers the temperature you enter to eliminate the guess work.
To enable Convection Convert on your Frigidaire Professional® range, the oven temperature selector must be in the Off position and the oven mode selector must be turned to Convect Bake. Press and hold both the oven light icon and the clock icon for about 3 seconds, until the "Aut" messsage appears in the display. Press either the - or + key until On appears on the display and the oven chimes an acceptance tone. Simply turn the oven temperature selector to the recipe's suggested temperature and the oven will automatically adjust for convection baking. To turn off Convection Convert, repeat the above steps, but press either the - or + key until Off appears on the display. The oven will chime and temperatures will no longer be converted.
To enable Convection Convert on your Frigidaire Gallery® range, press Convect on the keypad, enter the recipe's suggested temperature, and press Convect Convert. The oven will automatically adjust the temperature. To stop Convect Convert at any time, press Cancel.
