Questions & Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gallery Series Range Replaced an older Frigidaire convection oven. The stainless looks good but I was used to the quick preheat of the convection oven. Other than that it works great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value for a very good range! This range is as good as any I've ever owned, at a price that was hard to beat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great range, easy controls Had this range over a month. Super easy hook up and set up. Controls are simple to use and consistent from one eye to the other. I love that the 2 large cooking surfaces are on the front!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ok features I bought my stove a month ago. Wish the oven preheated quicker.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent quality I found Frigidaire to be long-lasting and very durable. I am in the Gallery Frigidaire said for 17 years with minor problems so I decided to re-purchase Frigidaire wants again

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Economical I like this range, bought it after speaking with repair person about my last range. He said Frigidaire is a reliable brand. The quick boil feature, large oven space and the steam clean feature vs the heavy duty chemical clean are definite assets. Two things I would prefer are a dual element on both front eyes and a louder signal on timer.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Takes some getting used to I bought this range because I couldn’t decide between convection and conventional, heat cleaning or steam cleaning. When I saw that this range could switch back and forth between convection and conventional baking, as well as between heat cleaning and steam cleaning, I was sold! (It was also the color and look I liked, btw). Well, you can rarely have your cake and eat it, too. I found out right away that when the oven was on the conventional setting, it tended to over-brown things on the bottom and undercook them in the middle. I think I’ve solved that problem by reducing the heat about 15 degrees from the recommended baking time when the oven is on the conventional setting. By the same token, the broil feature has a choice between high and low; and while the high is crazy high and will blacken your toast in about three minutes, the low takes longer than I’m used to. As for the stove top, I’m finding that it heats up a little more slowly than my last stove, but the burners all work, and I’m getting used to them, too. The front right burner has concentric circles that allow you to choose between a medium-sized burner and a very large burner (which is really cool!), but I’m finding that the larger burner has a hot spot in it, which means no matter what I cook there, one part of my pan will be scorched. Sigh. I’m already thinking that if someone gets this range after me, I’ll need to warn them about a few things. Still, it is nifty to be able to go between several different cooking options, and as I learn this range’s quirks, I’m cooking some pretty nice dishes.
