Lots of compartments and shelves to help separate
Replaced a 3 year old freezer that unfortunately died. Even though not under warranty, Frigidaire made partial reimbursement on the new one! Great company!

It works so far
I bought this freezer last month against my better judgement. I had an Amana freezer for 20 years and replaced it because I thought it was close to end of life span. I bought a fridigaire to replace it and it died after 2 years and was not repairable.I bought the same model to replace it as wanted an upright and options are limited. I also purchased the service contract as I expect it to fail again. I have nothing good to say about your product other than it currently works.

Good, basic freezer.
In the short time we've had the freezer in service, we're pleased with its performance. Freezes and holds temperature well. Would like a rail/guide mechanism for the bottom shelf for easier movement.

2 years to complete failure
This freezer comes with only a 1-year warranty. That should have been a red flag. 28 months later it failed. I contacted customer service because the Frigidaire responses to several reviews suggested doing so, but they just offered to make an appointment for a $100 minimum service call and sell me an extended warranty for up to 3 years. The industry average for the lifetime of a freezer is 11 years. This one is below average.
