Great product, OK designI just bought a new house and this was the dishwasher that they installed in all of the homes. The dishwasher does a great job washing dishes.....as long as they fit in the dishwasher. I just tried to place our plates in the dishwasher on the bottom rack (as you would with any plate you place in the dishwasher) and luckily for me, I spun the sprayer that is connected to the top rack pointed down at the bottom rack to see if it would hit the plates and it does hit the plates. So now I have a dishwasher that I can wash most of my dishes in but not my plates. Other than that it works fine. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

No major complaints. So far, it is a decent dishwasher. We've had a couple of instances where the dishes didn't get clean. We can't figure out why. (We didn't find anything that would keep the arms from spinning.) It is reasonably quiet. It's possible to watch TV with the dishwasher running; but, it's still a bit annoying. We also don't like the absurdly long cycle time (well over two hours). Finally, the silverware tray bumps the side of the frame when you move the bottom rack in and out. I think that will eventually tear the seal. From what we've heard, most modern dishwashers have similar issues. We haven't [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Decently happy.I've been using this dishwasher for about 2 months and it does a decent job washing, but does not do a great job drying. My dishes are always wet even with the heat setting on. I often leave the dishwasher open for a day after it finishes to let it dry. Also, the top rack has plenty of height which is nice, but that gives the bottom rack less height. I am therefore unable to place my large utensils in the utensil tray because they hit the plastic sprayer on the bottom of the top rack which needs to spin in order to wash the dishes on the top rack. The large utensils must be laid on the top rack instead. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Easy to useThis model came with our newly constructed home and we've been using it for four months. I do like the green light that shows up on the floor when the washing cycle is complete. Noise of the cycle is okay - not the quietest we've have, but definitely not the loudest. Cutlery washing has been good. Heat dry does not leave the dishes dry unless you use a rinse-aid agent. From a cosmetic aspect, the machine looks good, but the external stripping used to blend the machine into the cabinetry on either side of the machine has already warped and we are having to have it replaced. Very QuietI had this model in a rental unit I lived in for a year before buying my house last fall. When the dishwasher that came with the house went out a few weeks ago, we knew exactly which dishwasher we wanted to buy new. This model being "middle of the road" is to your advantage being that there aren't any very high-tech features on it that would be risky going out on you early but that it's sleek and will bring the look of your kitchen up a notch. This machine is affordable, durable, quiet, and cleans dishes thoroughly. I would recommend this model to any of my friends and family looking to replace or upgrade. My last fridgidaire dishwasher was betterIt's quiet, but leaves the top rack wet. That's not the worst part. Whomever designed the bottom rack, good grief how frustrating. No one needs movable tines on the bottom rack, not a gap where you place the utensils, either. The tines fall down (even after fridgidaire has sent me a replacement set) and my dishes crash into each other after each wash. It'll be a miracle if I maintain a full set of dishes. See for yourself. This is what it looks like when I open it up after wash. The dishes don't even fit in the rack well. They're nothing special, standard sized dishes. Horrible smell, Does not dry dishes properlyThis dishwasher was installed as part of our “upgrade” appliance package with the purchase of our new home. There is a terrible odor that occurs every time you open the door and there is a clear film on the glasses due to the heating element not drying properly, The FAQ section on the Fridgedaire website says it is normal for the odor to occur and that it should dissipate over time. I have ran at least 10 cycles and the odor is as strong as ever. I’m not even sure why this would be considered normal as we have had other new dishwashers that have never produced an odor. I plan on contacted Fridgedaire for a replacement. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Want to Know What We Really Think? My wife and I purchased this machine about 6 weeks ago and have seen questionable results. We have been advised, because of the supposed efficiency of this machine, that uses less water, to set the washer at the highest settings AND been made to run the water in our sink till "hot", before turning on the dish washer to be able to see any clean dishes when finished. How is this efficient?
Our 20 year old Kitchen Aid dish washer, used more water, BUT it got the dishes clean every time!
Any water the washing machine saves is wasted to draw hot water before we can use the machine!
My wife says she doesn't like the design of the silverware rack. Are there other designs available?
