One in six children lives in poverty in America. In some impoverished communities, conditions resemble parts of the developing world and children have limited access to healthy foods and safe places to play and exercise. Frigidaire is proud to support Save the Children and their efforts to improve the lives of these children.
Save the Children created the CHANGE program (Creating Healthy, Active, and Nurturing Growing-up Environments) to promote healthier lifestyles for children living in poverty by providing nutritious snacks and regular opportunities for children to be physically active.
