Smelly dishwasher

Quite, yes. Sleek design, yes. Large capacity, yes. SMELLY- YES!!! If I put dishes in it rinsed and free of food but wet and close the door all the way when I open it later it has a mildew smell. If I put anything in it with any food particles on it then thee mold and mildew and reeks in oder. I am guessing it is a design flaw in the vent system. I find that I have to completely "wash" my dishes to wash my dishes and then can never close the door all the way or the smell will develop.

We have had our FGHD2433KB1 Dishwasher for 5 months . About two months ago it started making a racket, I called customer service " I have never talked to a more helpful courteous, easy to understand, cooperative service & I'm 76, our dishwasher was soon back in service!" My problem is that same racket is back, but so light in noise a service person probably wouldn't recognize it. The dishwasher is excellent other than that.

Won't dry

Dishes covered with water after heated dry. Called during warranty and service tech came out and said all was normal but moisture is not getting out during the dry cycle. Have to open door during dry cycle to let steam out or it recondenses on the dishes as they cool. Service center said that this was normal???

very good quality.

This dishwasher is very quiet. There is very seldom anything that needs to be rewashed. My only complaint is the design of the door is such that food gets stuck to the bottom of it by the hinge and it must be cleaned often by hand.

Few Issues

I purchased this dishwasher because I liked the features. After using it for over 3 months I do not care for the buttons on top of the door. They don't always work unless you hit them in the right spot. Even then it may not start so I have to open the door again and push the start button again. I was also somewhat disappointed in the noise level because I thought it would be much quieter plus I just had a repair person out because upon opening the door after washing the dishes the rubber seal fell completely out. On the plus side it cleans and drys well and I do like the extra silverware containers.

Love it.

We bought it about 2 months ago. I runs very quietly, and get the dishes clean. It has room for large items. We are very pleased with it. I installed it myself, and that was not difficult. I highly recommend it.

Very quiet

We have had two of these dishwashers...the first lasted until right before the warranty expired (circuit board went out), but Lowe's replaced it. The second one we have had for about 6 months with no problems. This dishwasher is extremely quiet...you don't even notice it running.

New Dishwasher

For the most part, I am 100% satisfied with my dishwasher. The only problem I have is that occasionally the detergent dispenser door fails to open. This leaves a big clump of detergent in the machine. As soon as I've finished the box of power I will switch to liquid and see if it makes a difference.

Good value for the price

We've owned this dishwasher for six weeks now and so far so good. It is quiet, much quieter than our last one, and seems to do a very good job rinsing and getting things clean. One thing we discovered is that you cannot use gel packs for dishwasher detergent. I switched to the dry tablets and they work quite well. Gel packs.. not so much.

Solid Dishwasher

During the process of searching for a new dishwasher, which I was not very knowledgable about, this Frigidaire model came highly recommended by the salesperson. It was promoted as a very quiet, highly dependable machine, at a very good value. It turns out, the salesperson was actually right. I've had absolutely no problems with it to date, it runs much quieter than my old one, and it looks great in my kitchen. The removable baskets and flip down holders make it flexible enough to wash larger dishes easily. The 'Quick Clean' cycle works really well too. My only issue is the Rinse Aid dispenser - it's hard to tell when it is full or not, so my 'fill' light turns on a lot. But, overall I'm very satisfied and look forward to long term use.

My wife and I love this dishwasher. It is very quiet and does a great job cleaning the dishes. The racks hold a lot of dishes and there is plenty of silverware racks.

Wonderful Dishwasher!

When the Fridge died a few months back, we had to make a mad dash to Lowe's for a quick replacement. We had purchased a Frigidaire Front Load washer and dryer as our wedding gifts for ourselves, and absolutely love them. We decided to keep it going by purchasing a Frigidaire Fridge. Once we got it home, we realized that the new fridge made our old stove and dishwasher look very outdated. Back to Lowe's we went and returned with a Frigidaire Gas Range and this gem of a dish washer here. It is amazing how much our old dish washer wasn't doing its job, which we didn't notice until comparing dishes coming out of the new washer to dishes that the old washer had "cleaned." This dish washer is amazing! It is so quiet that I don't have to adjust the tv volume when it is running like I had to when the old washer kicked on. There has never been a dish in the 5 months that I have owned this washer that came out covered in food. My only complaint is that if a dish is in there for even a few hours that has some sort of dairy product on it (milk, ice cream, cheese) it starts to smell like death almost instantly. I did not have this problem with the old washer. I'm not sure if that is a problem with the vent design or what? What I do love about this washer is the hidden controls, which gives the front a clean modern finish that goes very well with my kitchen. Thank you for making a fantastic product!

Great upgrade.

We had a cheap builder quality dishwasher that drowned out the television when it ran. After putting this new Frigidaire in, we could not believe it was actually running. It is so quiet! And the wash quality is amazing. Not to mention that we use less water. Such a great improvement that we wish we'd have sabotaged the old washer sooner

It's wonderful

There is plenty of room for large mixing bowls and pans, even my large stock pot fits. It does a beautiful job on glassware as well. From the tough to the fragile in one load. But for me the best thing is it accomplishes all this quietly.

Clean - At Last

We bought this dishwasher two months ago. Our dishes had become dingy, our glasses were "etched" and cloudy looking. After two months with our Frigidaire all is back to normal -sparkling glassware and dishes that look as clean as the day we bought them. This is a great dishwasher.
