Well Done

Chose this cooktop totally based on the reviews and ratings in Consumer reports magazine. We had done an entire kitchen renovation at our vacation home which had all electric appliances and did not want to install gas with the renovation. Have always used gas appliances in our permanent home and was not thrilled with the idea of electric, but to our amazement this induction technology really works and Frigidaire did a great job with the features and aesthetics of the unit . We would now definitely consider this unit with any new purchases and have already recommended it to several friends especially those with small children. Nice to have a product that works as described, looks great in the kitchen and is also energy efficient. Have not had the unit long enough to rate the reliability, but will try to follow up later with another comment on that. WELL DONE FRIGIDAIRE!

The BEST!!!!!!

Had this installed in 1/2011 and we absolutely LOVE this cooktop. The induction technology has shorten the heating a big pot of water from 19 mins to 8 mins, and shorten the cooking time of a 5lb bag of frozen vegetables from 20mins to 9mins. The feature of expanding cooking space on the regular electric part is a very smart design that the other brands do not offer. I do wish the knobs are not so big.

It's Great!

I purchased my Frigidaire hybrid cooktop a little over 3 months ago. I usually don't write reviews, but have had such a good experience so far that I had to share. Induction is amazing. I used to burn meals (and serve it to the kids anyway), but I have such control with the new cooktop, everything comes out great. And I don't have to worry about the kids burning their hands on the stove. Not only that, but it looks really great in the kitchen. Very pleased with the product so far!
