Less than expected
Purchased from big box store, delivery ok, set up less than expected, didn't level the unit, went thru 'test cycles' so fast, I had no idea what that guy was doing.
I read the booklet a couple times. Got brave and began my first load of laundry.
Have to put detergernt in FIRST ??, then clothes, then close the lid, the energy saver weighs the load, and fills the tub depending on the weight and cycle chosen.
Regardless if energy saver is switched off or on, there's just NOT ENOUGH WATER (my opinion) for any cycle.
Dials do NOT advance during any cycle. Cycles NOT marked with wash or rinse within the cycle,, can't tell how much longer the cycle lasts. Don't know the length of any cycle or number of rinses within each one without experience. But you have to interrupt the cycle, peek in to see what is going on to determine washing or rinsing. Arrghh!!
Dryer has same issue, dials do not advance, even timed options have no markings. Sometimes stops because of sensor but clothing may still be damp. Not totally dry. Arrggh!
Issues developed after several loads. I think the water extraction pump makes noise, then the spin cycle begins a rythmic thump. Final spins (most revs) a metallic banging noise developed, thought it was loose cabinet, not so. Comes from under the tub.
All this noise is NOT want I purchased. I'm on the second level of condo building, and demand quiet operation. This unit does not deliver what I paid for.
The big box store has no solution, won't take the unti back as defective, I don't want this unit. I want Frigidaire to take it back and refund my money.
