Room furnace
When stovetop is on, heat is forced through range front vent making it almost impossible to cook in front of range. When oven is on, the same thing happens and even worse when you turn on the self-clean cycle. If you live in Alaska you will love this range but if you don't have air conditioning, plan on eating or grilling out. I have three friends who own ranges like this (different makers) and their's do not vent every ounce of heat into the kitchen; the heat is contained in the range (stovetop and oven).

Beautiful, but.....
We purchased this stove after retiring our 30 year old frigedaire range, which never had a problem. It worked great for 9 months, then...... It started peeping and flashing, then quit working completely. Repaired, but then only 3 burners worked, repaired again replacing all circuit boards. It now works, yayyyy. P.S. We have then entire Professional series in our Kitchen, very stylish.

plastic face melted
First the oven space is too small for a big pizza and it does not accomodate a large tray either. The control panel top facing burners is made of NON heat resistant plastic that melted and disshaped when a hot pan touched it. Last but not least the biggest burner turns itself on and off again!

It's pretty good
Pros: Stylish looks. Easy to control lockout feature for children. Stove top heats up really fast................... Cons: Preheat doesn't get to desired temp after alarm goes off. Can't have timer and clock on at same time. Exhaust fan is right where you stand so you're constantly getting air blown on you..................... I like this stove. It's not worth the price the big store chains are selling it for ($2000+) but for the price I got it at, it's worth it. I really like the lockout feature so my children can't accidentially turn it on without me knowing. The top burners heat up super fast but the glass stays really hot for an extended period of time after they are off. Way too long for my standards. The exhaust blowing is directly where you stand making it so if you're cooking at the stove, you constantly getting blasted with air right in your face. If you're cooking a pizza or something else that has strong odors, you're going to get that odor on your clothes. Whoever thought this would be a good place to vent should be fired. Also the preheat feature doesn't go to your desired temp when the alarm goes off. I preheated the oven to 425F and the alarm went off at 225F. So I had to set it on bake to 425F to get it the rest of the way. The fans stay on the entire time it's cooking and for about an hour after the stove is turned off. It's not very loud but if you're in the kitchen you will hear it. Overall I have some good points and some bad points. I would be very mad right now if I bought this at Lowes or Best Buy for full retail price but I didn't.. got it much much cheaper at a smaller chain store. So overall I'm happy with it. I just wish that exhaust blower was in a different place. It would be almost perfect if it was.

Beautiful appliance
We just had this range installed after having gas for the last 10 years---I love getting back to electric cooking. The fan blowing on me while I'm cooking is a bit annoying but might be nice in the hot summer time. One problem the installer had was getting the range close enough to the wall so it sticks out about 1 inch too far--can see a gap in the place where the slide in part meets up with the countertop.. He said it's because the electric box sits out too far so it's the best he can do until we get a deeper counter top installed one day. It's ok but rather disappointing that it doesn't fit quite like it should. We still love the look of it---just be careful not to lean in onto the controls as they will turn on and you won't know it until the burner heats up. Be careful !!

It know the repair guy more than my doctor
After 2 weeks of use, The oven started to produce a loud sound from the fans who was supposed to cool the commands panel. The convection fans are very loud, and except for the large cooking area, it's very long to have a good cooking temperature. Look very nice, but very disappointing product.

I need to know
There wasn't room to ask the most important thing. This is a farm. We cook everything. I just read articles about canning equipment on glass tops. This will be a big problem for me and my warranty. Do I take the chance while it's in warranty? I can't loose the equipment and the stove.

I didn't know
Thanks for your e-mail. I'm so glad you asked. It is really pretty. That's the only compliment I got till I got someone out here to cancel the factory preset heat. It's fine now. All the keep warm features are wonderful. I had a glass top in the 80's. I hoped for some improvement. I'm dealing with it. I had no idea it would blow air on me while I'm cooking. Really sucks on a cold morning. I'm dealing with it. The attached slide out rack makes it imposible to wipe up spills. So I took it out. Sure wish I could leave the racks in while self cleaning.

I love it!
I had a Frigidaire gallery stove before this one. It was not a slide in. This stove has many more features. Like the controls, dual fan convection, quick heat burners, even temperature cooking in the oven and looks beautiful. Would highly recommend to friends and family.

Love it!
I always missed my gas range until we bought this Frigidaire! I can control the heat so well that I'm glad we decided not to put a propane tank in our yard! It's beautiful and I love the griddle feature (it was the deciding factor), all the warming features (I didn't think I'd ever use the warming drawer), and the convection oven.

surprize
Whenever oven or any surface element is on, internal fan blows air at the cook. My wife is 5'1" and she feels it in her face. It is very unpleasant. I contacted manufacturer (Electrolux). They told me that it's a feature that keeps internal components cool. I'd rather call it quick fix to some design flaw (overheating) at the expense of user comfort and product reliability (fan is moving part that is likely to fail down the road)." Note: negative reviews are probably filtered out, that is why I gave this product five stars overall.

Best oven ever
I cook a lot and I am very pleased with the quick pre-heat and even cooking. I got it before Thanksgiving and was able to use the spacious cooktop for four pots at one time. Unlike my previous range, the glass cooktop stays cool even when the oven is heated which allows storage of prepared food on the top while baking. The glass top is easy to clean if wiped when cool with a wet paper towel.

Great range
Burners tend to run relatively hot - bacon only requires a 2.6 seiing. Rear space filler accessory difficult to install.

Best Christmas cookies ever
I just baked 20 dozen Christmas cookies and every one was equally browned and beautiful. For the past five years I have had to turn the cookie sheet and always had different degrees of doneness. This year, I am so proud of my work. Truly, I have the best looking Christmas cookies in the neighborhood.....all due to my new Frigidaire range.
