      Best of both
Have had this range for a few months but wanted to use it for a while before writing a review. We were replacing a vintage double-oven range, so needed the 40 inch size, and this is one of the very few available. I was not sure we would use the auxiliary oven, but we find that we are using it all the time. It is the perfect size for my bread pan, so I use it to bake bread two or three times a week. We use the broiler a lot, and enjoy this because the vintage range had very inconvenient broilers. The large convection oven can handle two pizzas. I really love the burners in different sizes, very well placed so that if I want something to stay at a low simmer, it goes on a back burner. The fastest, hottest burner is the front one, and it is easy to slide a pan from the front to the back burner. The stainless is very easy to keep clean. All in all, I'd say this is the best stove I've ever had, and I have been cooking for over 30 years.

      good value
I have an early version of this oven PLCF489CCD. The model shown here has a few more features. I love cooking with mine. The black glass can be some work to keep clean as i shows dust. The 2nd oven has been useful, works well, but is a bit narrow. This was expected since it isn't a 48" range. The main oven is big enough for a turkey. The convection feature handles 3 racks of cookies well. I can manage a family dinner for 12 to 18. I do wish they had 2 burners together with the same btu's for even heat when making gravy in a roasting pan, or to set a griddle on.

      good stove
i've had my stove since 02/2011. i had a replacement oven sent from Frigidaire after we noticed that the oven doors were bent and the service tech couldn't adjust it. then the smaller oven door on the replacement was bent/bowed again, and a new one was sent. well the service tech still wasn't able to fix it, so his theory is that that's just the way it looks. after dealng with this issue, i finally used my stove 2 1/2 months later. i have propane and it cooks/bakes great. now my only issue is that it's hard to get a clean no smear look on the glass finishing. i have received many compliments. overall, i absolutely love my stove.

      great appliance
I have had this appliance since spring of 2005. I cook and bake and home can and love the 5 burner capacity. The big oven is probably about the same as a regular oven as far as size and I wish the side oven was bigger because you cannot fit much into it (a 9x13 pan does not fit, prob more like 7x10) I would buy it again unless I could afford a higher end restaurant model.

Looks good, burners not as powerful as I'd like
I've had this stove for about 7 years and like it: it's been a good, dependable range. Works fine, but top burners (gas) are not as powerful as I thought they'd be - not hot enough to really stir-fry well. It just ends up kind of 'simmering' instead - or to a "medium fry" heat, and that's with preparing only 1 or 2 servings at a time just to do that. It can sear a little if you use good heavy pan (I prefer cast iron), but you can only do one or two pieces of meat at a time - any more and it brings the cooking temp down too low to sear well. I've had gas company check and everything is working properly - it's just not very powerful. Both ovens work fine (electric). I've never liked black glass on ranges (like the top on this), but thought I could learn to like it. It's very hard to keep clean - - everything shows on it - - even when it's clean, you still see streaks, fingerprints, etc. I know there are special cleansers and cloths for glass tops, but who wants to pull out a "cleaning kit" every time you use it. I just wipe down with a micofiber cloth and let "good" be "good enough." If you're looking for a professional look and average performance, this is a good choice, but pay close attention to the burner BTUs: If you really want professional performance and high heat needed for searing/stir-fries, this probably isn't a good choice. what a beauty
It's a great looking stove. I get compliments on it all the time. Easy to clean, easy to use. The side oven works well when you just want to bake something in a small pan. Good storage in the bottom drawer. I only wish the side oven was an inch or two wider but other than that I love it.

      Love it
I've had this range for 5 years, and we love it. Gas cook-top, convection/conventional full oven and conventional side oven- it's everything we need. The side oven is small. but heats up as fast as a toaster-oven! It LOOKS like a professional range, without the heavy-duty, hard-to-clean features of a Viking, etc. For the price, this range is a winner!

      love mine!
I have had this oven for 5 years and love it! It does what an oven should and looks great doing it! I have received sooo many compliments. It looks like one of the overpriced higher end custom brands. Great if you have the space!
