      Noisy Fans always blows Air
      I was excited to get this range but what a shocking DISAPPOINTMENT!!! IT is beautiful too look at, but seriously I like to cook! 1..The metal finish is soft and it was scratched while the installer removed it from the cardboard box. Just to the left of the Digital Oven Control;. 2. The Oven Fan blows the entire time you are using the Range- Not the oven but the cook top. This makes NO sense since the air blows from a slot just above the Oven Door and nowhere near the burners. What a waste of electricity. If you like to make Stew, Soup or Spaghetti Sauce prepare to hear the noisy fan. It Blow COLD air right at your abdomen while you are cooking! 3. The Burner Knobs are not is a standard format- IE: 4. THis came with NO WIRES to connecting the range to the electrical source. 5. First TIme I fried an Egg, I slide my frying pan to flip it. The Glass Top got scratched. I have expensive Stainless Steel flat bottom pans! This glass top is VERY DELICATE - I was used to the Ceramic Top- much more durable. Sure Wish I could have used this or see it plugged in to hear the noisy fan. I never would have bought it and now I am stuck with it! My new counter tops were made to slide this in! I am relly unhappy with this Range!

      The baking features are fine. It is the design that is a problem. The upper corners of the oven door are sharp and snags your clothes. I like to bake lady locks and use a pan that has grooves to hold 12 metal rods. The fan extends into the oven area so far that I can only bake 3 rods on each side of the fan. There should be a better way to vent the top and oven. When you open the oven to check what you are baking, the hot air hits you directly in the face. I just remodeled my kitchen and wanted the feature of the slide in range. That part is great and I am getting used cleaning the top of the range. I never had the ceramic top before. Also, it would be nice if the warming drawer was set back in some so that you have a little toe space. If you bump the black area where the controls are, it nicks and the paint comes off. I use a black marker to cover the nick. I like Frigidaire Appliances but I think your design department needs to work on several features. Thanks for asking

      Completely regret purchase!
      I had no idea that air constantly blows from above the oven door! Even when just the cooktop burners are in use! Two days after delivery I phoned the company where it was purchased and was told this was not normal. So, a repair man was sent. He made a phone call, and we were told this IS normal! I do not want to hear a fan motor running and feel air blowing on my abdomen and reflecting to my face and hair every single time I cook or bake! We are returning it today. The instruction book only states the fan runs when the oven is on. Very misleading!!!

      I extensively researched this range. It had the ideal burner configuration, performance, great convection oven, good price and a sleek look that I wanted. The reviews were also mostly positive. The feature cited in the negative reviews was a cooling fan for the electronics in the cooktop that blew a lot of air out of the front. This was our experience as well. As soon as the cooktop or oven is turned on a fan blows a lot of air out of the area between the top of the oven and the bottom of the cooktop (think streamers blowing). It was cold and uncomfortable. My husband is generally sensitive to these kinds of things and I am the type of person who can adjust to almost anything. Even I thought the fan was too intrusive. We sent the range back. It turns out that most slide-ins do have fans in the front to cool the electronics because of the postion of the electronics. We are now considering an induction range because the cooktops do not get as hot as electric. Because dealers generally do not have 220V in their showrooms, customers cannot plug in the ranges to try them out to learn how the ranges operate. Also I found that the manufacturers do not seem to be able to answer questions about these fans. The best information comes from consumer reviews.

      I purchased this range about 8 months ago. I have to say this is the best range I have ever owned and it is well built with quality materials. My old oven had a problem keeping a consistent temperature and had me convinced I just wasn't a good cook. This oven has changed all that and everything from roasts, pies, cookies, cakes come out beautifully every time. The glass top burner surface comes clean easily with Windex and then the smooth top cleaner for when something gets burned on works everytime. This is so much easier to keep looking brand new compared to the open element type. Best of all my kitchen looks like it's been remodeled since this range and the matching overhead microwave were installed. I've always been a Frigidaire fan but this has me even more convinced that Frigidaire is really building a quality appliance.

      The stove was delivered 5 days ago, late in the afternoon. The following morning, I went to make a cup of tea. One of the elements wouldn't work. I checked the "keep warm" element...it doesn't work either. I called the store, they said they'd send out a repair tech. He arrived today, checked a couple of items, said, "Yup, element doesn't work, I'll need to order one, should have it in a week or so....after I fix that, I can try to diagnose the 'keep warm' element". Furthermore, this stove has various fans that operate for extended periods of time. I can only imagine what my electric bill will be. In all honesty, I want my 21 year old stove back!!!

      We recently purchased this stove and we eat chicken nuggets EVERY NIGHT! I love pushing the button. Sometimes when the kids get good grades, I let them push the Chicken Nugget button. Next week we are going to figure out how the pizza button works. I highly recommend this to all the poultry and pizza lovers.. YUM YUM

      This range is not only a tremendous appliance, it also adds beauty to me kitchen. I have been very pleased with all the great features this product offers. I can acutally cook something in the oven now and expect it to cook evenly throughout, and I could not do that with my old range.

      Wonderful Addition to My New Kitchen
      We completely renovated our kitchen this summer from ceiling to cabinets to floor to applicances. I had a counter top stove and a small built in wall oven in "harvest gold". I love my new built-in range. I now have more cabinet space where the old oven used to be. It was hard to get used to the burners getting hot so fast. I've made jam a few times and had every burner going. My husband loves to cook and I think he loves the range more than I do. In fact he's making a pecan pie as I type this review.

      It does not require major cleaning. Clean up is easy as you go. I can use windex without ammonia for a quick clean up and use the glass top cleaners and razor for tought spills

      We are remodeling the kitchen and bought this range to replace our old one. It is wonderful! It bakes everything so evenly and beautifully! I have prepared everything from pizza and cakes to Thanksgiving turkey and everything was Wonderful! I have recommended this range to others becauseI am so happy with it!

      I replaced a drop stove with this model and we very please with the purchase. The cooking capabilities of this stove are great. My wife just prepared Thanksgiving dinner today and everything came out great. I don't have any complaints and would recommend this appliance to anyone.
