      Bought this range because it's only make and model that fits in space of old one. Works fine as I expected. Don't like: Small auxiliary oven door hinges on the side! Whoever engineered this obviously doesn't use this oven - this is stupid. My old oven hinged on the bottom as all oven doors do and should. Most ranges are installed next to a cabinet or wall so this door doesn't open back all the way. Good way to get burned by hot oven door! Also this small oven doesn't have a light. Again stupid!

      Perfect for canning
      I have owned this stove since about 1965 and use it daily. It's getting old and tired but I didn't want to replace it unless I could find the same one- and now I have! My only concern was the amount of weight that can be put on the stovetop, but was told it can hold up to 50 pounds. It has every feature that I love- huge stovetop to hold canning supplies, burners on the perimeter of the stove and two ovens. Heaven! Now if the quality is equal to that 50 years ago... I hope to buy one soon.

      Very nice stove. The extra storage is great. Thank you for having a 40 in very hard to find. I only wish the timer would keep running. Just beeps twice.

      My 40" Range
      I am a housewife and mother. We cook and eat at home 98% of the time. I love my Frigidaire 40" electric range because of the amount of storage. I can store all my pots and pans with their lids. Other than needing a 40" range, the built in storage sold me!
