      Nice but could be better
      For the money you would be hard pressed to find a nicer looking cooktop out of the box. It has the appearance of a very high end unit with the heavy gauge grates and knobs. It will boil water rapidly and also has a great simmer feature. My only complaint is the quality of the stainless steel finish. It scratchs very easily. We put several scratchs on the unit the very first time we wiped it down using only a papertowel and water. The directions state not to use stainless cleaner because the heat would then discolor the finish. Unless after using cleaner you wash it off with soap and water. So we clean using soap and water only. We have had stainless appliances in our last 2 homes and have not had this easy to scratch issue with any other product. We now just try to be more careful.

      Small footprint/Big capability
      We bought this for our 1st of two kitchens in the home. We wanted a small footprint island and thus we needed a small footprint Gas cooktop. We combined with a downdraft retractable vent (vented outside). The combination works well. Suggest keeping two high output burners and 1/1 small/medium. Slightly more upscale knobs too. Overall it does everything we expected and looks very sleek and always clean.
