      For an refrigerator, it functions well and colls very good. a bit noisey but the users manual stated it does this. overall very satisfied witht the product.

      bad shelving
      We have had our fridge just a little over a year and the top glass shelf with the drawer hanging under it keeps breaking. The first time my husband fixed it with gorilla glue now it is broke again. We will probably have to buy a new shelf. Bad set up!

      I replaced a bottom freezer style with this model as I dislike to unload the bottom freezer bin to find a package in the rear. Overall when I received this appliance it took less than 2 hours for a cool down to complete. I had kept the previous frig for temporary storage thinking a cool down time of 4 hours would be more normal. Features I like are the light in the freezer, spill safe split glass shelves, removable ice maker (I'm not one that likes refrigerator ice). Door storage design needs improvement. Milk gal. jugs don't seat well (very important), storage space is lost due to two adjustable half bin shelves rather than one longer full bin shelf, one long deli type bin should be divided into two for better organization, and the vegetable crisper bins have a sloped back making it difficult for celery to fit. Freezer door storage consists of a fold out front metal rack door which is fine but the top bin which has a flip open door plastic front fogs / freezes up so one cannot see the contents. A simple bin shelf would have been better even though less innovative. I don't know if this design was to reduce freezer burn or what (?). No mention of it under features. The front door is a smooth finish but the sides are textured. One wonders if there were spare parts from past models used ;) One style would be better than this multiple arrangement. Overall it is a good unit. Does R&D need to think this through a bit more - definitely. Also, split digital temp. control should be in a model with this price range. BT
