      I am quite disappointed in the amount of ice/snow that has formed on each shelf of the freezer. The salesperson who sold the freezer to me insisted that it would take a long time for ice to for...wrong he was. I've only had the freezer for 4 months and now how to go through the tedious task of defrosting it.

      Freezer is only a few months old, but so far it works beautifully and we have had no problems with it. It is the same as the last one we had which we left with the house when we moved and was still working perfectly after 5 years..

      Love the freezer
      This freezer is much easier to deal with than our former coffin style freezer. Love all the compartments for bread and vegetables. Things are much more overseeable, and can be organized much better. No more diving into the food at the bottom of the freezer. I also love the way the door closes.

      We feed our 2 large dogs raw and our old little chest freezer was a huge pain. I would be inside with my feet up in the air to get to anything & everything had to be taken out and replaced each time!! This huge, WELL LIT freezer is such a treat, never thought I'd own one. The price was low and we were told that by buying the cheaper manual defrost, our meat would stay at a consistant temp. as opposed to the frost free ones that will regularly dip in temp in order to defrost. Could not be happier.....

      THIS FREEZER IS GREAT. I ORIGINALLY ORDERED A FROST FREE ENERGY STAR MODEL. IT LOOKED NICE BUT THE COMPRESSOR WAS TOO NOISY AND CYCLED ON EVERY 45 MINUTES. AFTER A WEEK OF THE HORRIBLE NOISE I CHOOSE THIS MODEL DESPITE MY WIFE'S WARNING THAT I WILL BE MANUALLY DEFROSTING WHEN THE TIME COMES. IT'S WORTH THE INCONVENIENCE BECAUSE THE NOISE WAS DRIVING ME CRAZY. IF YOU WANT TO PLACE THIS FREEZER IN YOUR LIVING SPACE THEN YOU WILL APPRECIATE THIS QUIET UNIT WITH LOTS OF STORAGE SPACE. I'M HAPPY.

      I needed to find a replacement freezer ASAP as our old chest freezer quit and it was full of food. I found this freezer at a great price and love how accessible my stuff is now. I am not getting any younger and am kind of short, so not having to almost climb into the freezer to get something is great. I love that smaller things can be stored in the door (frozen juice) and I can organize my meat, vegetables,baking and misc by shelf. I am always short of time and this freezer helps me find what I need quicker so I can get going.

      This is a really good freezer. I was concerned that an upright would not keep things as cold, or cost too much to run, but neither has proven true with this freezer. I agree that it is much easier to organize and find things and that alone is worth it. It has room for all my summer garden produce and the Thanksgiving turkeys.

      The new freezer is exactly what we wanted and needed. It easily replaced our old model and actually fits better in the cabinet opening than the old one did. It holds more product, and the "soft" compartment for the ice cream really works well, and is a unique concept. The compressor is very quiet, where the old model was much louder and ran a lot more also. This unit surely has to be more cost effective and will protect our frozen food much better than the older previous unit.

      It is the size we wanted and it is manual defrost which we believe keeps the food longer without drying it out. Storage layout is good and the unit is quite quiet. We are glad that Frigidaire still makes a model like this, not all manufacturers do

      After owning my new 17.0 cubic foot upright freezer for more than a month now, I am still amazed every time I open it. It has a great light in it so everything is clearly visible. The convenient shelves on the door are great for those quick grab items eg. butter, juices, bacon, etc. It runs quietly and is a great investment. I am a reformed chest freezer owner.

      I luv this freezer. I got it for a really good price. I looked around for a freezer for quite some time. When I opened the door to the freezer and looked inside I fell in love with the layout. I am one happy customer.

      Really great upright freezer
      We replaced our chest freezer with the Frigidaire model FFU17M7HW upright freezer and haven't regretted it since. Would highly recommend this freezer, as you can easily find, organize and store all your frozen products. It has a lot of space to organize and store frozen products Like the all the features to list some; Store more in the door, Store-More™ Adjustable Door Bins and Soft Freeze Zone. .
