      Excellent Choice
      I bought this unit to replace a 30 year old 22,000 Whirlpool unit that took care of our patio/sun room. I have been thoroughly pleased with its performance so far. Really like the "econ" feature, and it is nearly whisper quiet. While you do hear air rushing, the compressor is virtually silent. It is delivering consistently cold air in great steady quantities. Now, all I have to do is wait for the winter months to try out the heating feature, I never had heat in the room before. This unit is well worth the money!

      This air conditioner failed 3 months and 2 days after installation in my house. When I contacted Frigidare I was given contact information for 3 repair companies. When I contacted them, all 3 stated that they did not work on window units. When I finally got through to a person at Frigidaire, the only repair firm available was 30 miles away. I contacted the repair company and when they tried to get parts for the repair they were not available locally, had to be ordered, and will take a week to 10 days to get here.
