    The amazing stack

    By: Tim on 3/20/2015

I like the stack, it frees up some space. The knobs are a little cheesy feeling. It has already broke once. I'm thinking I might need an extended warranty.

    Just what I needed

    By: AL on 12/11/2014

I have limited space and this unit fits. My last one performed for 10 years and this is its replacement. Manuals are cheap and require a magnifying glass to read. Not satisfactory.

    Laundry Center

    By: Wanderer on 12/11/2014

The washer capacity is like a regular stand alone washer. Holds what my old washer held so quite happy with it. Like the fact that the washer and dryer are one unit as I needed a compact set to fit into a small area. As I am by myself now this is an ideal set up.

    I didn't have choice

    By: Moondune on 10/16/2014

My old laundry station was broken. Given the space limitation, I had to change for a similar one. I like the design and new features. However, like other reviews you can find online, the dryer generally won't dry the cloth enough like my old one. So far it only works on my shirts. If you have something like fleece, or even cotton socks, the automatic setting will stop too early. So far I have to use the 60-min settings for all my drying.

    Works great now.

    By: Gayle on 10/16/2014

When we got it, it definitely had a problem. The wash cycle would get into a rinse, spin, rinse, spin that would go on for hours if you didn't stop it. Repairman tried to just reset the control board, but that did not work. Control replaced and now works fine.

    Good enough

    By: Steve on 9/16/2014

This unit behaves as it is meant to. Aside from the strange startup whine and finicky controls, I have no real complaints.

    Zero stars!!!!

    By: luvcats on 8/29/2014

I'd give this unit zero stars if I could. It tears up my clothes. It doesn't dry well. It doesn't fill well. It's impossible to tell where you are in the cycle. Then the controller went out on the dryer--exactly four months to the day after the warranty expired. This is complete junk. Of course I'm going to have to pay to get this horrible appliance repaired. Please learn from my mistake: AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!

    Happy with my frigidaire

So far, the new Washer/Dryer that we got has been an incredible help and incredibly reliable!

    By: Barb on 8/16/2014

I loved this unit when I first bought it. It was very convenient and fit very well in my new bathroom. However, in just under a year the motor went bad. It took more than 2 weeks to get it fixed. And trying to get throught o the people who administer the warranty was a trial all by itself. I love the concept, but the unit needs to be looked at for more efficiency. It does not fill with enough water and the temperature settings are silly.

    Compact convenience

    By: Loreann on 6/15/2014

I bought this washer/dryer because I can no longer go to my basement to do laundry. So I had a pantry/laundry closet built into my kitchen and put this washer/dryer in it. It has only been 2 weeks, but great so far and very quiet too.

    Believe the negative reviews

    By: JoAnne on 6/8/2014

This washer/dryer unit came brand new with the condo we purchased. All the negative things you read in the other reviews are true. The washer does not fill with enough water at low or high settings. I can't wash a full set of king sheets for this reason. Ironically, there are times I've chosen the low setting and the water filled the tub. Once you choose a setting there is no going back, and there is no simple spin cycle. The dryer is horribly inefficient. It takes longer to dry the clothes than to wash them and believe me, the wash cycle is excruciatingly long. Using this washer, dryer is always an irritating experience. It puts me in a bad mood each and every time. If I could afford it, I'd kick the unit down the stairs and into the alley and purchase something else. I'm stuck with it, but you don't have to be. Buy something else.

It has good and bad options

    By: Rose on 2/22/2014

Good for space saving and some nice features, I like having more cold settings because that's all I use, but some peopled might not like that. Our chime did not work either and had to be repaired too!

    3 cold options?

By: Worst washer ever on 2/2/2014

Washer does not add enough water to clean anything. The knob says there is a hot cycle... that is a lie. The machine barely gets warm. It fools you. You can touch the water coming in and it is hot, but once it mixes with the water used to wet the clothes it is less than warm when it begins washing. Why 3 cold cycles? Dryer only dries when you use a timed cycle. No other setting will dry clothes completely. Anyone with this machine should get an immediate refund!

    Can't recommend it

    By: Neldam on 12/29/2013

The washer never fills up, no matter what setting you have it on. I often have to open the door mid cycle, & add several bottles of water just to bring up the water level. You never know what point in the wash cycle your wash is in, as it does not indicate it! The washer is very frustrating, I feel like my wash is not really moving with such little water in it, & thus my dirty clothes don't appear to be cleaned. I don't know HOW I can increase the water levels short of adding water in by hand. Also, the lack of cycle indicator;....since I am not sure if the wash is actually clean, I'd like to be able to pause it & start the cycle over again manually, but you can't! I just wish someone would figure out how to resolve this issue, I would love to hear it ! The drier also does not dry the first time, you have to run it again & again.

    Frigidaire Model FFLE2022MW

    By: Joe on 12/23/2013

This machine is horrible. We had a Frigidaire from 15 years ago that was great. Now they have change it to no agitator which twists the clothes in knots. The water level isn't enough to wash the clothes properly. The dryer doesn't really dry the clothes all the way so you have to go through multiple dryer sessions or use the timed selection to run it long enough. This is the worst washer and dryer we have ever purchased and the most expensive. We cannot believe that you have to pay extra for features that should be standard like automatic fabric softener. And they took away the ability to add water to the load to make it clean more efficient. I would not recommend this to anyone. Very poor product.

    Extremely Disappoiinting

    By: blp on 10/11/2013

One star is not appropriate; there should be a field for ZERO, which is what I would rate this appliance. It is very, very disappointing! I definitely would NOT recommend this to a friend! The design makes it difficult to move the clothes from the washer and it does NOT get clothes clean. There is NOTHING GOOD I can say about this appliance - it is a waste of money!

    Greg's Review

    By: Greg on 9/25/2013

We bought this appliance because we moved into a smaller home and my wife wanted to put the washer and dryer in our bathroom closer to the master bedroom. I shopped around for several products like this, but, this one had the best reviews and fit our need perfectly.

not what we had hoped for

    By: Don on 9/24/2013

The lint containment is right inside the dryer door and every time you open the door lint blows out all over the place. The dryer does not dry that well so you need to run it 2 or 3 times depending on the type of garments.

Buying this has worse odds than a coin toss

    By: j on 8/21/2013

I have recently purchased 3 of these. 2 out of 3 did not work and leaked upon delivery. So i give this product a 33%. If i could give it less than 1 star i would. Total fail fridgidaire.

    Newfangled, computer controlled

By: Allan in Florida on 7/19/2013

This new washer design without an agitator has some problems. It is intended to be a water saver, and it is provided: a) the clothes are not especially dirty b) the load stays balanced and completes the spin cycle. Without the agitator, it is rather ineffective for really soiled clothes, such as work clothes from gardening, etc. If heavy soiling is not an issue (probably not for retirees, city dwellers) then most of the time the washer quietly does its job well. However the other problem is that in the wash cycle there is a tendency for clothes to get twisted into the shape of a big rope, or to be tangled with other clothes. Probably one load out of ten will stop prior to the final rinse due to the imbalance this causes, so it is necessary to reach into the wet, heavy clothes and disentangle and redistribute them. Then the newfangled, computer-controlled feather works against the simple fix...all the clothes really need is at that point is to be spun out, but you cannot select a spin cycle. The closest choice is "Rinse & Spin" which uses more water! I would avoid this design. Front-loaders that are water savers are probably best despite the considerably higher cost.

    The good and the bad

    By: cabinguy on 6/10/2013

The first unit was delivered and set up by a big box home center. It wouldn't do anything. Three weeks later, a second brand new unit arrived and was installed. It works fairly well, the washer is actually quite good, but the dryer cuts off way too soon no matter what automatic setting it is on. Sometimes we had to restart a load three times. I was told that "they all do that" as a way to get an Energystar rating. I would imagine that a dryer that only half drys your clothes would get a very good energy rating, but those half dozen dryer settings will be of no use whatsoever if you actually prefer your clothes dry. We've taken to just using the timed drying setting.

3rd time is NOT a charm!

    By: geminightwriter on 4/24/2013

My girlfriend and i leased one of these units from a rent to own Business. The first unit we received washed and dried acceptably, but the washer ran ALL night long. We discovered that if you did not get to the laundry center and lift the lid when the cycle was over, the machine would start washing AGAIN. i watched this process several times, and we had 4 minutes between the time the cycle ended and and new cycle would automatically begin. Keep in mind this was a brand new unit out of the box. We made arrangements to have our units switched out, and was given a used model as a replacement. The second machine did the exact same thing, only this one didnt even sound the chime when the washing cycle was done. A third unit (also brand new, straight out of the box) was brought out and delivered and installed by the store manager. We never determined if the automatic rewash was a problem because the third laundry center had a bad cold water valve and wouldnt stop pouring water into the drum. Our multiple bad experiences led us to cancelling our contract with the rental center, and frigidaire has left a bad impression on us. I would give this product a negative star rating if your format allowed, so please dont confuse the one star rating with ANY type of satisfaction with this model at all.
