What are the differences between refrigerator models?

What are the differences between the water filters you offer in your refrigerators, and how do I choose one?
Your refrigerator will use one of the filter types below. To easily find which one you need, look in your user manual or on the label of the filter itself. When replacing the water filter, please be sure to order the same model to ensure the right fit for your refrigerator.
- The PureSource® filter is a canister- or cup-type filter that is qualified to reduce contaminants that affect taste or odor; for example, chlorine.
- The PureSource Plus® filter is another type of canister- or cup-type filter located at eye level in the cool refrigerator compartment. In addition to improving water taste and removing odours from the water (like the PureSource® filter does), it can also reduce lead, mercury, and some pesticides and herbicides than may be found in water.
- The PureSource2® filter is a cartridge-type filter located in the top front of the refrigerator compartment and is conveniently replaced with the push of a button. It features a higher level of filtration functionality as the PureSource Plus® filter, reducing the presence of more substances, including Mercury and more herbicides and pesticides.
- The PureSource Ultra® filter has a new tubular design and is located in the top right of the refrigerator compartment. It is conveniently replaced with a push-in-and-release method, and its location frees space at the top of the refrigerator for taller items. It features the highest level of filtration; the PureSource Ultra® reduces everything listed above, plus VOCs (volatile organic compounds).
Detailed performance data for your specific filter can be found in your owner's manual.
