  6. My gas range was recently installed, but only the oven is working—not the burners. What should I do?

    Each gas range has a shut-off valve, which supplies gas to the surface burners. To check that this valve is open and working, follow these steps:

    1. Remove the lower drawer.
    2. Locate the shut-off valve in the right rear of the drawer compartment.
    3. Check that the tab of the shut-off valve is facing toward the right.

     

    When the tab on the valve is facing right, your range should work.
