    Door Problems

    By: disappointed on 3/4/2014

Moisture is getting in between the glass panels of the door. There seems to be no way to get rid of these drip stains and they make the oven door look dirty.

    Room to Spare, with Frigidare

    By: Temp on 12/17/2013

This stove is her, and hers! I do little cooking, have trouble boiling water but her, this fits her like a glove. It gives her the room in the oven the other didn't. The top, with the burner in the middle is such a unique way of using space to an advantage. It absolutely cooks so evenly, and effecient were both delighted to own it This will probably ruin my review but I've got to say this. On design I would have given a 5 also, if not for the little plastic legs that keep falling out of the racks on top of the stove. I did qrite to you and got a few more, but they still keep falling out and get lost. They seem to be too small for the hole they rest in. Take nothing away though. We buy this stove over again, knowing, we enjoy it that much. I enjoy watching her cook and care for the stove. She adores it

    Decent range, some disappointments

    By: pwash on 12/16/2013

We like the features of this range, especially the 5th middle burner, self-cleaning oven and built in temp gauge. While the front is a beautiful stainless look, the sides are black which we did not know. The side of our range shows in our kitchen and the black panel is not very attractive. Control panel stopped working for no reason after 10 months and was replaced free of charge since we were under warranty in the first year. I'm concerned it will happen again.

    Great 30" Range

    By: Martorano on 12/16/2013

I read about this product in consumer reports and was not disappointed. It had a great 5 burner set up and the dual action oven bakes like a dream. The built in Probe feature is also very cool! Definitely a great range and at a very reasonable price.

    Awesome range

    By: silverlady on 10/5/2013

Looked long and hard for a good range when my last one died. I love this one! I love the continuous grates so I can slide post from one to another easily without lifting them. The center burner is great for the griddle but also great for large pots. Used it to heat the water in an extra large pot to cook 4 lobsters! Yummmy!

    Nice range top and oven

    By: KayG on 10/2/2013

I am very happy with both the range top and oven. It is easy to use and performs well. Have not used the probe feature. Only disappointment was the rubber feet fell off the grates however since it was less than 1 year old, Frigidaire sent a repair kit with feet and epoxy.

I Frigidaire you to buy this range!

    By: Time Saver on 9/26/2013

Owned for one month. The shipping carton was pristine and I took photos of the great delivery but we found a small dent and scratches on the left side and the stainless drawer was bent. Also, the enamel door inside the oven was chipped. Not the shipper's fault. We haven't eaten out in the last month because we are trying recipes not used for years on this range. Everything we put into the oven, whether cooked with convection or not, comes out as if Julia, Martha, or Paula made it. I wanted a convection oven and I got SO much more. Combined with the probe, it's even more fantastic. I believed the griddle was foolish but it now stays in place as we use it almost daily. Pizza button? Perfect pizza every time with crunchy crust better than any carry out. Third rack that pulls out when the door is open and half rack for multiples baking are well thought out. And baking three racks of cookies is a great time saver. Topside, the burners are of a quality I haven't seen since my departed Grandmother's range. The different sizes/BTU's allow for everything cooked and ready to serve at the same time. That hadn't happened here in years. We use Grandma's Revere ware and a few good quality stainless items that require no more than medium heat and I'm cooking in half the time of my previous range. NOTE: follow directions for first time heating of EMPTY oven to burn off any shipping oils. Smells to high heaven! Also recommend doing so for broiler. Do take the time to read the instruction book; a bit vague at times (convect convert button, for example) but very useful all together. This range is near-professional for those who enjoy cooking, or used to. It was initially intimidating for this 60 year old but I feel so confident I've volunteered to cook for the holidays again. My rating for quality is based on the light weight metal outside, I've gladly traded heavy exterior sheet metal and porcelain for a truly insulated oven that doesn't exude heat all around and force you out of the kitchen (the front and sides are cool to the touch when using the oven). I do suggest that you don't leave the oven door open to cool after baking as the metal burner knobs will absorb the oven's heat and will burn you! Overall, an exceptional range with features I never imagined but now wouldn't be without. I know price is a factor for everyone. Even if you don't catch a sale like I did this range is a bargain and so enjoyable that I plan on taking it with me should I ever move.

Good stove, but broken fridge and dishwater

    By: Carebear on 9/25/2013

We love the stove. The dishwater and fridge is another store. We have already had the ice maker worked on and the dishwater fixed. It over flows on to the floor. We are praying and hoping that is the only problem with those appliances.

    black beauty

    By: Roxanne on 9/25/2013

Love my new stove except for two things. I have a black stove top which is hard to keep clean. If you use too much soap and water it leaves grease/wipe marks. I have found a great product called Zep streak free window cleaner that makes it look brand new. Also I dislike the little round burner tops that are hard to keep clean. They already have stained spots that are permanently stuck on them. I have tried everything except stainless steel pads but that would probably scratch them I'm afraid. Another strange thing about this stove is you can't keep the oven door open without the light being on all the time. So if I want to let the oven cool off I am also wasting electricity because the light remains on.

I really like the stove portion especially the griddle burner and the various BTU choices on the burners. The oven is more problematic. After the basic on/off/timer unctions, the touch pad is not intuitive. have had the stove for 7 months and still consult the instruction manual . A chat room format for a tutorial would be a lovely thing to offer so I can ask my questions. For example: I really like the temperature probe but have yet to figure out the expected duration of cooking to reach the desired temperature. My roast turns out medium rare but I have not bee able to tell how long it will take to do so. That is frustrating. I did not see this addressed in the product ratings I looked at before I bought it. Overall I like the stove. Personal comment not related to Frigidaire: I have always had light colored appliances. This time I bought a black one. I regret the color because it is harder to see spills and know how and where to clean it.

    Rust & electronic failure

    By: Billy on 9/24/2013

Top surface was rusted and pitted out of the box. Local vendor would not help. Electronics failed within first 2 months. Product was never abused or used severely. Have purchased many Frigidaire appliances. This is the last.

    Love it

    By: jackyjoe on 7/21/2013

I totally love this range. I did a lot of shopping around and reading reviews before I bought my range. Granted, my last gas range was over 15 yrs old and had no bells and whistles whatsoever, but this range is so easy to use and so beautiful in my kitchen.I don't see ever removing the griddle plate, as it is like having a built in flat top. And the probe is amazing. The price was good and the fact that it is made in the USA makes it even better

I love my new stove and all it's features. I like the gallery stainless steel because it stays cleaner than other stainless steel appliances I have had. However it is really hard to keep the stove top clean. I live in the desert and the dust that flys around just attracts to the stove top and I find myself wiping it with a cloth all the time.

    Made in the USA......

    By: Madspud on 3/27/2013

I was looking for a new range and I was told by my Mom to check out Frigidaire. I had to replace my Whirlpool Gold junk that I had nothing but problems with. As I started looking at the Frigidaire line I was impressed by the quality and value for the money. It was all the little things, like having a griddle included, meat thermometer and convection. The burner knobs even are 100% metal. Most ranges that I looked at we're more money and didn't have all of these features. I was sold when I also saw that it was made in the USA and you could tell by the quality. So far I've been thoroughly impressed and it works and looks great. My Grandpa worked most of his life and retired at the Greenville Michigan plant and he has passed on, but the pride he took with quality still remains, at least with Frigidaire.

    Great Range~

    By: Sue on 11/29/2012

I have had this range for three days...and it is amazing! Cooking a roast with the probe as I am writing this review. It looks fabulous! The griddle is just great! My husband always teased me about my baking...until now. I made pumpkin bread last night and it was perfect! This is a beautiful appliance, that I will really enjoy for years to come.

So I am new to this oven, really haven't even used it yet . . .but here are my few gripps. If you have installed this youreself like myself, you may comment like me. The bottom rack hook up, weird and difficult, may take you 3-4 times before it doesn't fall off. Oven will not work if you have the back side regulator switch in the wrong position. And last, why the heck can't they put in a few blips of info on the stupid square LED on on the panel, just above the convect oven button in the manual. No where does it say what the square tells you or what it is there for. Does it tell you the oven temp by raising the bar a lttle bit higher as the temperature raises???? What, What, What does it do??? So did I buy the right oven range? Time will tell, but I feel I am not off to a good start. Honestly, I can't wait to start cooking on it and enjoying all the features it has. I'll check back in and let you know how it goes later. Cheers. JA

I couldn't be happier. This range does everything BETTER than I expected it to. I had gotten in the habit of cooking only the dishes I knew I could make--this appliance has me taking on meals I would have never entertained the idea of attempting before. It's performance is absolutely reliable. It's a better stove than I am a cook!

I am very happy over all. This is very easy to use and has great features. I have had it in use for about 1 month. The only issue I have is that when you use the oven the knobs in front get very hot! I would not recomend this for families with young children!

    Nice features

    By: zocko on 4/2/2012

This is a nice range with several features. The center stove top grill (that can be removed and replaced with a regular grate) is very useful when doing breakfast for a few people. The probe feature in the oven allows you to set the internal temp you need, and when the temp is reached the oven goes into hold. Roasts, using convection roasting with the probe come out secret is to let the roast go to hold and let it hold for a hour or so. Don't rush it out of the oven! That is what the dinner houses do to naturally tenderize prime rib and turkey. Baking is done with convection, and remember to drop the temp about 25 degrees to adjust for the efficiency of convection.

    Great Range!

    By: Appliance Guru on 10/18/2011

This is the best Frigidaire appliance we own. We love it! It has a great convection feature for baking. The griddle feature on the stove is nice for breakfast. And the rack that pulls out automatically when you open the door really helps. All around this is a fantastic stove and oven.

    True love :-)

    By: AnneV on 8/17/2011

I love this stove! I love the quick light of the burners, the varied power ranges on the top of the stove, the griddle burner in the middle, the three racks in the oven!! I love the oven capacity and the quick preheat. I love the convect feature, which I use to speed up preparation for casseroles (homemade mac & cheese is a breeze!) I enjoy the complete coverage of the grating on the top which lets me use huge pots and easily slide them forward or back. The only issue I've had so far is that I can't figure out how to use the delay bake feature. I've carefully followed the instructions and it doesn't start. I'll have to play with it a bit more. I'm sure there's a trick I'm missing.
